Testimonials
Ron,
The obvious enjoyment of the Front Rower is seeing where you
are going. I trailer my boat and today I put in at the Chula Vista Marina at
the Southern end of San Diego Bay. Being Easter, and perfect weather, meant
there were a lot of boats going in and out of the relatively small opening
between a break water and a jetty. So just seeing where everyone else is and
where you think they are going is a huge improvement. I felt so much safer
than I did with my traditional sliding seat rig.
The next appreciation I had was how comfortable I was.
My back thanks you. I felt so good I rowed across the bay to the Coronado
Cays. It's about a mile and a half one way and I felt like I could have
rowed all day, but I had talked my lovely bride into coming with me to take
photo's from the shore and to be a cell phone call away in case I needed
her.
Thank for inventing, and marketing and building the
Front Rower. I know my boat will get wet 10 times more often now. I can't
wait to go out with my buddies with sea kayaks. Now I can love to use our
Heritage 15 vs. just love looking at it. Thanks again,

Hi Ron,
I'm really enjoying my FrontRower and row
between 4 and 6 km almost every day! Here is a photo for you to add to your list of satisfied
customers!

Hello Ron,
The
rowing with my front-rower is delightful, be it leisurely legs only or more
dynamic arms and legs rowing, I really enjoy. Over the last 2 weeks I have been
rowing 1 to 2 hours per day. Attached find a couple of photos.

Hi Ron,
Absolutely love and am amazed by my FrontRower. Thanks for both the creative genius that could
imagine this product and your integrity for building it so well with top of the
line hardware and materials. The quality far exceeded my expectations and gives
me great pride in showing it to others (everyone wants to know what it is) as
well as great confidence it its durability with heavy use and rough weather.
The
amazing efficiency (lots of forward motion for little energy input) combined
with the low center of gravity have allowed me to row in conditions that would
have been unthinkable in my standard canoe. Thank you.
P.S. as you will
see from the pictures, I have it mounted in a Wenonah "Encounter" canoe and
have partially enclosed the deck with a cover made by Cook Custom Sewing.

Hello Ron:
Here's
your marvelous FrontRower on our Lake -- the
Moultonborough Bay part. It felt right at home there, not just on
still water like this (and we had a lot of it) but playing in the surf
on gusty days as well. In fact I felt the Rower handled better in
rough water than conventional sculling -- into, across and down wind. I
rowed almost every day, sometimes a fair stretch -- 6 mi. more or less --
and never tired. What I liked best is the obvious advantage of seeing where
I am going -- picking a line to my destination and staying right on it. But
I also liked cruising no-hands close to shore, just looking.
The net of it is, I love my FrontRower! I'm a complete convert and am
endlessly grateful to you for your ingenuity and enterprise.

Ron,
I thought you'd like to hear about my
experience with my FrontRower. First, what a great machine! I
love it. First time in a while I am getting enjoyable exercise.
I think I can feel my blood pressure dropping. Perhaps you have
extended my life. As you recall, I installed the FrontRower in a 16'
Old Town "Pathfinder" canoe made out of Royalex. Turns out the the
suction cups strongly adhere to the Royalex, hence no gluing of a mounting
pad required. In result I was on the water within a half hour of
unpacking the rower. Again, thanks for designing this most unusual machine which
(rare now days) actually works as claimed.

Hi Ron,
One row, and Susan was convinced that rowing with your
rig was VERY CIVILIZED, and a great physical and mental experience. One row,
and I was convinced, too.
We bought a second FrontRower and a Prism
canoe. Now we are both rowing together and looking forward to many
years of looking forward rowing. Every time I row, I marvel at the
thought and workmanship that you put into this device I am enjoying.
Thank you.

Ron,
Thought
you'd be interested in these photos. Two old fools in their 70's who
never even managed to build a model airplane were successful in building
your kit. Looks damn good!
Bill Stewart - St. Simons Island, GA Dear Ron,
Wow! FrontRower is terrific. I love it. First, it fits fine in an 18'
Wenonah Sundowner with the center thwart removed. There's 61" between the
remaining thwarts and stiffness of the gunwales is still fine (aluminum and
kevlar version). It's great to lean back hands-free and
move at a good pace w/ just legs. The
feather-and-return mechanism works perfectly. It's a marvel just to watch it
work. Put sequential serial numbers on all your rowers, like on sailboats. Someday your rowers may have historic or collectable value.

Ron,
Yesterday, Helen and I
rowed the (HarborCruiser 18) out of the Creek, up the River to Urbanna and back
(about 20 miles roundtrip). I am pleased to report that Urbanna and back is
further than we have ever gone in a canoe or kayak. We both had fun and are
pleasantly sore today. Going up-River, we had perfect calm weather and
could easily switch between rowing with hands, feet or both. Coming back,
we had a stiff wind coming directly up-River with white capped waves and had to
consistently use both hands and feet to make progress.
